Philosophy

Alpine - Mediterranean - Contemporary! -
This is how we would describe our hotel, which opened in winter 2005.
Even during the planning stages we took careful note of the position of the hotel through the changing seasons: the angle of the sun, the light, the wind, the surrounding trees and houses. We had plenty of input into the layout and orientation of the rooms in conjunction with our planners. The idea was to make the hotel like a home for friends in which personal wellbeing takes centre stage. It was to be light and simple, and yet still have class. To this end we took great care over all of the little details that our guests "feel" from the very start: linen, tableware, furniture and accessories were all selected meticulously. We did not want our decorations to be "off the shelf", so we appointed our local artist, Christoph from Eggen, who spent a whole summer painting an individual flower picture for each of our rooms. For the inglenook, old carvings from the Moseralm were set in modern frames, and help to bring the spirit of the pioneers into our new hotel.

In the kitchen and wine cellar, quality and variety take top priority. We have the great luck to live in a land with two very different cultures and this constantly provides new, interesting stimuli. Together with our employees, we aim to surprise and challenge our guests and are always delighted when we succeed.

The range of sports we offer benefits from our love of the mountains, our own enjoyment of many different kinds of winter and summer sports, and our training in mountain biking, hiking and Nordic walking.

And above all, we take enormous pleasure in opening the eyes of as many people as possible to the beauty of our wonderfully diverse South Tyrolean homeland!
