Christmas in the Dolomites
Romantic Christmas mood in a family atmosphere.
This is an alpine region, with Mediterranean flair, traditional and modern at the same time. With its art, nature and sport in an awe-inspiring landscape, a holiday in South Tyrol is never monotonous. In our 4-star Hotel Marica, surrounded by the most beautiful open-air stage of alpine scenery, you will be immersed into South Tyrolean life. How about a typical Italian aperitif in the early evening followed by a brass band concert? Or an excursion to see the world-famous Ötzi mummy in Bolzano, combined with a shopping spree beneath the city's famous porticoes? Alternatively, take a trip to admire the unique art treasures of the historic bishop's city of Bressanone – or perhaps to the spa town of Merano and ramble through the magnificent gardens of Trauttmansdorff castle? You will also be enticed by a trip along the “South Tyrolean Wine Road” at Caldaro, a tour through the impressive Messner Mountain Museum in the grounds of Sigmundskron castle, plus many more attractions. Find out more about the many different attractions of South Tyrol!
"We stayed in a very large room, with very spacious bathroom and separate toilet. The owners are very welcoming and helpful in giving tips for our snowshoe hiking (the area is great for winter and snowshoe hiking). The breakfast was excellent and the dinners were delicious, every course was of a very high quality. We have stayed in many Vitalpina hotels (all very good) but this one stands out for service, hospitality, atmosphere and delicious food!"
"We were already several times in the winter and in the summer in the Marica and would gladly come again! You feel welcome and is in every way ( küchenshow, gourmet menu, wine tastings, exciting excursions, pool, sauna, massages, etc.) the best."
"A lot of fun, relaxation and friendliness await you. Ps: for the particularly active guests there is always a wide range of leisure activities with its own care available."
