Cross-country skiers can work their way through a dense network of trails that cross through the snow-covered woods at the foot of the Latemar mountain, while the bizarre peaks of the Dolomites stand sentinel. With both easy and more challenging sections – everyone will find their favourite route in the network of well-prepared trails around the Lavazè plateau, Nova Ponente or Carezza. No wonder Val d’Ega is considered one of the most beautiful cross-country skiing areas in South Tyrol!
The Cross-country skiing centre in Lavazè is simply a paradise, with 84 kilometres of superbly prepared trails for both classic Cross-country skiing or skating, and meander through the picturesque landscape between the Latemar, Corno bianco and Corno nero mountains. In addition to the spectacular natural backdrop, Cross-country skiers will find a very courteous service.
The numerous Cross-country skiing trails of the Alpe di Siusi also lie very close to the Hotel Marica. On Europe's largest alpine plateau, winter sports enthusiasts are really spoilt for choice. Eleven richly varied trails guide you across the alpine meadows at the foot of the Sciliar mountain peak.
